About the Role
The Dialysis Nurse Manager – Cranbourne Community Hospital (CCH) will lead and manage a newly commissioned satellite dialysis unit, purpose-designed to meet the growing needs of the south-east metropolitan corridor. The unit includes:
- 18 satellite dialysis chairs (including 3 isolation rooms)
- Shared nephrology clinic space and a dedicated home dialysis spoke area
- Access to pathology, pharmacy, imaging, and allied health services
This leadership role is responsible for clinical and operational outcomes, workforce strategy, and staff management. You’ll report to the Director Clinical Operations – Nephrology and be supported by the broader Nephrology leadership team.
You’ll be instrumental in establishing the unit’s operations, embedding Monash Health’s multidisciplinary model of care, and fostering a collaborative, patient-centred culture.
About You
You are a dynamic and experienced dialysis nurse leader who thrives in a team environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality care. You bring:
- Current AHPRA Nursing Division 1 registration
- Significant dialysis nursing experience
- Proven leadership and management capabilities
- Experience in quality improvement, change management, and project delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Postgraduate qualifications in leadership or management (highly regarded)
You’re ready to take on a foundational leadership role in a new facility and contribute to shaping the future of renal care in the region.

About Monash Health Nephrology
Monash Health is Victoria’s largest public health service and a Level 6 Hub provider under the Department of Health Renal Capability Framework. Our nephrology services span chronic kidney disease management, transplantation, dialysis therapies, supportive care, and research.
We provide care across inpatient, home, and satellite dialysis settings, with strong governance and support systems for metropolitan and regional partners.
