About the Role:
Join our team as a Grade 2 Podiatrist on an ongoing part time basis (0.4EFT) to work as part of our Aged and Community Care program to provide clinical care and leadership. Clinical service to clients within their designated caseload and other areas will be provided as directed by the Aged and Community Care Management team.
The role provides evidence-based assessment, care planning, intervention, and discharge support for community clients. Scope includes high-risk foot care, wound management, biomechanical pathologies, and general diagnosis and treatment of foot disorders. Services are delivered through community health centres and home visits, with a focus on supporting client health, wellbeing, and independence.
The position contributes to the podiatry and multidisciplinary teams through best practice clinical care, knowledge sharing, student supervision, mentoring, research, and quality improvement activities. Engagement in trans-professional practice within the multidisciplinary team is expected. The role spans Aged and Community Care, Residential Services, and Transition Care programs, with flexibility to work across other sites as required.
About You
As a Grade 2 Podiatrist, you will be a forward-thinking clinician who values innovation and continuous improvement, contributes fresh ideas to enhance care and outcomes. You will have ambition to develop and expand clinical expertise, along with a proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork. With your strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will support effective collaboration, high-quality service delivery, and a positive, person-centred approach to care.
What you need:
- Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent.
- Current Victorian drivers licence
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
