About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a psychologist to join the multi-disciplinary team at Cranbourne Continuing Care Team (CCT) for three months to support the ongoing recovery of our community based service. Cranbourne Community Mental Health Team is a multidisciplinary team providing mental health assessment and interventions for adults with mental illness within its catchment area. The position is based at Cranbourne Health Centre.
The focus of the position is to provide evidence-based psychological services to the consumers who present with severe mental illness including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, personality disorders, depression and other severe mental health disorders. The psychologist will assist with diagnostic clarification, formulation and treatment planning, and offer a psychological perspective to the treating team and other relevant stakeholders.
