Cranbourne Centre Day Surgery Unit are looking for enthusiastic nursing staff to join their team.
- Permanent full time position available
- Work Monday - Friday, no weekends, public holidays, on-call or night duty

About our Theatres at Monash Health
Cranbourne Centre is situated in the growth corridor of South East Melbourne. The Day Surgery is a two theatre complex incorporating Day Surgery and Sterilising Services. Our surgical specialities focus on Ophthalmology and include Gynaecology, Colorectal and General Surgery. We complete 3000-5000 surgeries each year and pride ourselves on ensuring excellent patient care and experience.
We are a supportive and collaborative team who provide exceptional care to all of our patients.
In late 2025 Monash Health plan to relocate the existing Day Surgery service to a brand new building, Cranbourne Community Hospital. The new site includes a state of the art six Theatre Day Surgery complex, which will bring more opportunities for the Cranbourne Day Surgery team.
About the role:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with perioperative background, has become available at Cranbourne Centre.
The responsibility of the Registered Nurse is to provide patient centred care in all areas of Day Surgery nursing; from admission, through the peri-operative phase to discharge. Be part of the team at Cranbourne Day surgery and improve your knowledge and skills across our surgical specialities.
About you:
As an experienced Perioperative Nurse, you will have demonstrated skills in either Scrub/Scout or Anaesthetics/Recovery. As part of this role you will be expected to have a thirst for learning as you will be allocated to work across scrub/scout, anaesthetics/recovery and admissions/discharge roles. All required training will be provided.
You will have access to resources to support you in this position, enabling you to further advance your surgical nursing and leadership skills whilst role modelling nursing excellence and delivering a high standard of patient centred care.

What you need:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Working with Children’s Check
- Proven clinical experience in Perioperative Nursing
