About the Role:

We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Clinician within our Child Health & Wellbeing Local. This is a full-time fixed term role for approx. 30 months.

The 'Local' is a service that provides comprehensive assessment and treatment that considers all aspects of an infant's or child’s life. This service provides wellbeing support, peer support and care coordination to help with different kinds of challenges including developmental, behavioural, and mental health concerns.

This service has funding for community health, mental health, and family support services.

The Children's Health and Wellbeing local is a new service that are seeking a highly organised and highly competent Senior Mental Health Clinician to support access and engagement within the service.

This role will assist in providing high quality service for children from 0-11 years and their families through skilled mental health triage and assessment, service navigation, care coordination, transition follow up and consultation to internal and external stakeholders.

This role would suit someone who is highly organised, proactive, confident working with families and carers in a supportive way and who is confident in assessing risk and complexity.  You will be one of two senior access and engagement clinicians setting up and organising this part of the service with the direction and support of the local Team Managers.
