About the Role
Healthcare administration is fast paced, with our Administration staff an integral part of the maternity Services team. Rotating through our busy maternity service, clerical staff are the first person our patients are greeted by. You are a proactive, experienced health care administrator who enjoys a fast paced environment and can work effectively in an autonomous role. Prioritising comes naturally to you and being in a hospital environment you exhibit integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.
This position involves rotating shifts between the Dandenong Women's clinic and Birth Suite, across a 7 day roster including weekends.Shift times include 7am-3.30pm, 7.30am-4.00pm, 8am-4.30pm, 8.30am-5pm and 12.30pm-9pm.
Who are we looking for:

proven health care administration experience

essential knowledge of IPM, including admissions and discharges, desirable

Friendly, customer service driven individual who can communicate effectively

proactive, organised and can work autonomously
About Monash Women's at Dandenong Hospital
Monash Women's Maternity Service is the largest maternity provider in Victoria providing care to over 9,000 women each year across all of our sites. Working collaboratively within our maternity service, the role encompasses the Specialist consulting service, birth suite and maternity ward inclusive of extended post natal care.
