About the Role
Join our dynamic Physiotherapy team at Dandenong Hospital as a Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant on a full-time ongoing basis and play an important role in supporting patients across acute, complex care and critical care services.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing and supportive team where collaboration, learning and professional growth are encouraged. Working alongside Physiotherapists and the broader Allied Health team, you'll help deliver high-quality patient care while making a meaningful difference to patients throughout their recovery.In this role, you'll provide delegated clinical and non-clinical support to Physiotherapists and other Allied Health professionals, including:

Implementing therapeutic activities for individual patients and group programs under supervision

Assisting Allied Health professionals in delivering therapy programs

Providing clinical, administrative and equipment support to help ensure the smooth delivery of patient care

About You
You're a proactive and compassionate Allied Health Assistant who enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. You have strong communication skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement.To thrive in this role you will bring:

Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance

Experience working as an Allied Health Assistant in a healthcare setting (minimum three years full-time equivalent preferred)

Current Australian Driver Licence

Experience working with lymphoedema patients is desirable for opportunities at Clayton and Moorabbin Hospitals
