About the Role

 

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee the delivery and development of high-quality Occupational Therapy services across Casey and Dandenong Hospitals and Hand Therapy services across Monash Health.

 

This is a broad leadership role with both clinical and operational scope, offering the opportunity to shape services, influence outcomes, and contribute to system-wide improvement. Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across Occupational Therapy and Hand Therapy services
  • Lead a large team, including 8 direct reports
  • Drive service innovation, research translation, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of evidence-based care across acute, sub-acute, and specialist clinics
  • Support workforce sustainability through supervision, mentoring, and professional development
  • Partner with the Head of Profession and Allied Health leadership to strengthen care delivery across Monash Health

 

 

Reporting to the Head of Occupational Therapy, you will play a pivotal role in service planning, operational oversight, and clinical leadership, ensuring patients and families receive safe, high-quality, and evidence-based care.

Qualification and licence requirements include:

 

 

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent.  
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) 
  • Drivers licence (travel between sites required)
