Dandenong Children’s Ward is looking for an Associate Nurse Manager to join the team, supporting the Nurse Manager and the leadership team and role modelling the nursing staff, to provide Family Centred Care as they strive for excellence.
About the role:
Along with day to day shift management and support in clinical care, you are required to participate in education and ongoing development in your field. We work on Quality improvement to ensure that we are providing our patients and their families with ongoing fantastic care and positive outcomes as we aim for a fast discharge.
This is an fixed term 12 month position – 0.8 EFT.
About You
You are an enthusiastic Paediatric Nurse who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is willing to commit to team work and ongoing professional development that align with the Monash Children’s values and vision.
You are also:
- Able to demonstrate the ability to lead by example
- A leader in providing coaching and support to other nursing students and junior staff.
- Passionate about paediatric nursing and supporting patients and their families throughout an admission to the unit
- enthusiastic, compassionate & able to work collaboratively
- excited to be accountable for and manage specific portfolios in our relentless pursuit of excellence
- an advocate of Monash Health’s Strategic Guiding Principles
- Experience as an ANM is desirable however experience in leading a shift is essential
- Paediatric experience is essential in this role and a Post Graduate qualification is desirable
- You are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Authority (AHRPA)
