About The Role:
We are seeking an Associate Nurse Manager (ANM) to work closely with and assist the Nurse Manager lead the Ward.
- We have a Permanent Part Time position available - all with a requirement to work across a 24/7 rotating roster.
This is an excellent clinical leadership opportunity in your clinical career to lead by example, mentor a team and utilise your proven organisational, clinical and communication skills. As a key member of the Nursing leadership team, we welcome your input, and value your ideas and fresh eyes to help us be our best.
Your development of course does not finish with this role. A nurse educator is available to support you; while your Nurse Manager will help you take your leadership aspirations further should you wish to do so.
About Us:
Dandenong Hospital is in the heart of the growth corridor in the south east of Melbourne. This growth and exposure addresses Monash Health’s need for exceptional Registered Nurses to join us lead the way in providing quality, patient-centred health care to meet the needs of our community.
West 3 is a 36 bed surgical ward providing a high acuity, fast paced, goal orientated specialising in General Surgery and Vascular nursing to adults from a variety of social and cultural backgrounds.
Our services include general surgery, complex wound care, vascular patients, complex discharge planning and allied health.
What you Need:
- Current experience acute General Surgery and ANM experience.
- Previous clinical leadership exposure to running of a ward in ANM capacity
- Experience in managing portfolios associated with the National standards
- Current AHPRA registration
- Australian working rights
- Current Employee Working with Children’s’ Check and Police check
- Complete and current immunisation history including but not limited to COVID-19 and , influenza
