Join Dandenong Dialysis, a 21-chair haemodialysis service within Monash Health, and make a meaningful difference to patients while supporting a skilled and collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Dandenong Dialysis Operating Hours:
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 6:00 am – Midnight
- Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday: 6:00 am – 8:00 pm
About the role
- Provide clinical leadership, support and guidance to the nursing team in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager.
- Lead by example and promote high-quality, person-centred care and positive clinical outcomes.
- Support a fast-paced, specialised dialysis service with exposure to both outpatient and acute inpatient haemodialysis.
- Contribute to quality improvement, accreditation and clinical excellence.
- Work collaboratively with medical, allied health and wider Renal Services teams.
- Support and develop staff while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
About you
We are looking for a passionate nurse leader who brings:
- Demonstrated haemodialysis experience and strong renal nursing knowledge.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership capability and a commitment to developing others.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
- Strong time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
- A commitment to quality, safety and the relevant National Standards.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster.
- Postgraduate qualifications in renal nursing or leadership are desirable.
- Experience with Baxter Artis machines is desirable
