About the Role:

 

We are currently seeking a Clinical Coach to join our team on South West 2 and West 2, Dandenong Hospital (1.0 EFT ongoing, split across both wards) .

 

We are after an exceptional Registered nurse to join us to lead the way in providing quality patient-centered health care. 

 

We require a highly skilled Registered Nurse, passionate about education and developing a crucial workforce.

 

This role includes providing:

  • Supporting contemporary education that promotes best practice standards
  • Clinical support to staff of all proficiency levels novice to expert
  • Demonstrating and promoting expertise and best practice standards
  • Working collaboratively with the leadership team including the multi-disciplinary team
  • Utilises resources such as the professional development framework to support a flexible and highly skilled

 

About Us:

 

South West 2 and West 2 are a 20 and  30-bed wards specialising in General Medicine.  

 

As an Acute Medical Unit, South West 2 & West 2 is responsible for the management of a wide range of illnesses including, but not limited to cardiac respiratory and renal conditions and is one of the multiple wards within Monash Health to have established a Ward Governance model. 

 

Ward Governance is a method in which all members of the team, collaborate and direct care in consultation with the patients care goals and beliefs.  The team includes Nursing, Medical, Pharmacy and Allied Health.  Members not only focus on ensuring patient progress and plans, optimise safety and outcomes, but also remain vigilant to ever changing best practice guidelines and continuously adapt and innovate their care.

About You:

You are a highly skilled nurse with well-developed clinical skills and excel in engagement, communication and collaboration within the team environment.

 

You have a passion for and experience in supporting learners. You can confidently demonstrate the following:

  • Commitment to quality clinical care and sound clinical skills
  • Developing leadership and the ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to show initiative and work independently when required
  • A well-developed understanding of different teaching and learning styles, and able to demonstrate high-quality creation, delivery and evaluation of your teaching via various modalities

 

What you need:

  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Extensive Relevant experience demonstrating the appropriate competencies and skills
