About the Role  

Join Victoria's largest Health Service as a Customer Service & Admissions Officer at our Casey, Dandenong and Kingston sites.  Our reception and admissions area are the first point of contact for consumers attending our services.  As the face of Monash Health, we strive in providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors and staff throughout the hospital and ensure they receive the required support and care during their visit.  

 

We have 2 Permanent Part Time Positions Available: 

  • Position 1: Dandenong/Kingston = 50hrs per fortnight 

  • Position 2: Dandenong/Casey = 43hrs per forntight 

 

As a memeber of our team at reception, expect to answer a range of inquiries over the phone, in person or via email.  You will be completing patient face to face and online admissions, assist with way finding through the hospital to ensure patients and visitors arrive at their destination, complete data entry into our patient administration system (iPM), all whilst delivering the highest level of customer service.  Availability is essential as our operational shifts are rostered between the hours of 6.30am - 8pm Monday to Sunday, including public holidays.  Staff are also required to work across a minimum of 2 sites.  

  

About You  

We welcome previous experience in a Healthcare setting with medical terminolgy an advantage.  Above all we are looking for someone who can upload Monash Health's iCARE values.  You would have the following desirable skillset:  

  • An excellent phone manner & outstanding communication skills  

  • Are enthusiastic, compassionate & able to work collaboratively with stakeholders in a fast paced environment  

  • Demonstrate empathy and sensitivity towards visitors, patients and staff in a medical setting  

  • Be a team player in a diverse and multicultural team
