About the Role:

Are you a passionate Dietitian ready to make a real difference? Join our team as a Dietitian Grade 2 on a part-time, fixed-term (0.60 EFT / 45.5 hours per fortnight) basis until March 2026, based across Thomas Street - Dandenong, Cranbourne, Casey, Moorabbin and Kingston.

This opportunity is ideal for a Grade 2 clinician with renal experience who is passionate about delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care. In this role, you will:

 

  • Provide holistic and evidence-based dietetic care to patients
  • Gain exposure to, and upskill in, a broad range of renal conditions
  • Contribute to Nutrition and Dietetic renal streams, quality and research projects

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will bring the following:

  • Experience in renal dietetics
  • Your pro-active, patient centred attitude
  • Enthusiasm for multidisciplinary team work
  • Demonstrated clinical reasoning and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication abilities, confidently supporting escalation of care and clearly outlining handover and discharge plans
  • Demonstrates strong accountability while effectively working autonomously
  • Ambition to grow your clinical skills and expand your knowledge and develop others

 

 

Mandatory requirements include: 

 

  • Hold a Dietitians Australia accredited dietetics degree or hold a Dietitians Australia mutually recognised dietetics degree from New Zealand or have passed the Dietitians Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) process 
  • Eligible for registration with the APD program with Dietitians Australia
  • Current Drivers Licence
