About the Role
Join our dynamic team at Dandenong Hospital as a Grade 2 Dietitian on a part-time ongoing basis (0.6 EFT / 45.6 hours per fortnight).
In this role you will provide dietetic services within Monash Health Adult Inpatient services and clinics with the aim of improving patient outcome and/or facilitating discharge. Actively contributing to the Nutrition and Dietetic and multidisciplinary teams by providing best practice clinical care, sharing knowledge and participating in teaching and supervision of students (undergraduates and/or postgraduates), mentoring and/or supervision and participate in research and quality project activities and food service and administrative responsibilities and portfolios as delegated.

About You
To thive in this role you will bring:
- Experience in acute dietetics and enteral nutrition
- Demonstrated clinical reasoning and prioritisation skills
- Excellent group facilitation skills
- Confident communication that escalates care, articulates handover and discharge plans
- Demonstrated accountability whilst working autonomously
- Minimum 2 years acute experience preferred
Mandatory requirements:
- Dietitians Australia accredited dietetics degree or hold a Dietitians Australia mutually recognised dietetics degree from New Zealand or have passed the Dietitians Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) process
- Eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia
- Eligibility for Accredited Practising APD Program
- Current Drivers Licence
