About the Role:
Join our team as a PSA Team Leader Diagnostic Imaging on a full-time basis working Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (80 hours per fortnight, plus an ADO) at Dandenong Hospital. Your focus will be to provide supervision to the team of PSA's working in Diagnostic Imaging Department and to assist the General Services Leadership team in meeting operational requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead a team of PSAs in their delivery of services to patients, clients and stakeholders
- Compliance to relevant standards
- Achievement of accreditation for the areas of responsibility
- Delivery of high-quality customer focused services
- Manage hospital-wide cleaning and patient movement requests
- Liaise with nurse / managers and department heads in relation to services under portfolio
- Perform any other duties as directed.
In this hands-on role, you will also be required to contribute to the team as a qualified PSA and assist with PSA and ESA duties as required.
About Us:
Our Support Services team provides a range of essential non-clinical services that help our hospitals run. We provide food services, central production kitchen, patient support, porters, cleaning, linen, pest control, waste management, car parking, hygiene services and some retail services.

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a personable approach to our patients and visitors at Monash Health.
- Ability to maintain the highest standards of integrity and confidentially and exercises sound judgement
- A proactive approach and team player
- Great attention to detail
What you need:
- Certificate III Health Services Assistant (Essential)
- Previous patient services or patient care attendant experience within a healthcare setting (Desirable)
- Previous experience in a team-leader/ supervisory role (Desirable)
- Excellent understanding of patient identification procedures.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions and procedures
- Able to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying and manual handling
- Excellent understanding of cleaning methodologies and infection control procedures
- Ability to work with a cohesive team or individually to complete daily tasks
- Basic to intermediate digital literacy
