About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to Join Hospital in the Home South East Sector (Dandenong and Casey) 

  • Part-time Fixed Term Contract 

  • Part time Fix Term Contract commencing 1st September 2025 to 15 February 2026

As a seasoned Registered Nurse with proven expertise in Acute Care, your role will involve close collaboration with the site HITH coordinator. You will actively contribute to operational planning and the provision of patient care, both within clinic settings and in the community.

You will have demonstrated skills in an acute setting, including desirable experience in chemotherapy, complex wound management, ED or ICU. With your excellent communication skills and caring manner, you will be happy driving to patients’ homes to provide outstanding care.

About Us:

Hospital in the Home (HITH) is the provision of acute care to public hospital patients who have their treatment continued in the comfort of their own home. This is an alternative to an inpatient stay. Hospital in the home provides a holistic and individualized approach to its patients. All patient care provided aims to meet the needs of the patient and their families. The case mix of patients include conditions from a medical, surgical and oncology/hematology background. We also deliver chemotherapy treatments. 

 

About You :

You will have demonstrated skills in an acute setting, including desirable experience in chemotherapy, complex wound management, ED or ICU. With your excellent communication skills and caring manner, you will be happy driving to patients’ homes to provide outstanding care.

What you need

  • Current AHPRA registration; 
  • Proven recent clinical experience. 
  • Relevant working visa
  • Working with children’s check 
  • Full driver’s license is essential for this role.
