About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental health Clinician to lead our Recovery and Prevention of Psychosis Team (RAPPT). The multidisciplinary team provides support to young people (aged 12 to 25) with complex mental health needs. The RAPPT provide mental health assessment and therapeutic interventions for vulnerable youth/emerging adults and their families. To support the young person the RAPPT offer a flexible service delivery with a combination of clinic based, outreach, group and telehealth appointments.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the broader Infant Child Families and Youth Service and Monash Health Mental Program. The role is for an experienced Mental Health Clinician with proven leadership/management experience.

 

This is a full-time ongoing role based in Dandenong

 

About You

 

You are an experienced mental health clinician, passionate about Youth Mental Health and dedicated to engaging with our consumers, their families and key stakeholders in a way that is culturally and linguistically sensitive, promotes trust and facilitates the building of a productive therapeutic alliance. You are resilient, engaging and have leadership capabilities.

RAPPT is a specialist, friendly, vibrant and close-knit team, which is in high demand both internally and externally.

Working with young people and their families at the acute end of clinical services requires the team to be professional, resilient and flexible while advocating for the young person.

 

What you need

 

This role is open to the following disciplines:

  • Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 5
  • Social Work Grade 5 (AJ 57 AJ 60)
  • Speech pathologist Grade5 (AJ 20-AJ 23)
  • Occupational Therapist Grade 5 (AJ 11-AJ 14)
  • Psychologist Grade 4
