About the Role

The Wellness and Recovery Centre (WRC) is a specialist eating disorder service that is treatment based and recovery orientated. Teams provide care to both acute inpatient medical units and community treatment options utilising evidence based therapies, within a person centred model. Whilst not providing case management services, we work collaboratively with both public and private service agencies to provide specialist guidance and input as needed to assist with determining clinical care pathways. The Adult Eating Disorder Inpatient Unit has a multidisciplinary team providing evidenced based treatment to consumers experiencing an acute phase of an eating disorder. The unit is based at Dandenong Hospital. The Mental Health Clinician position is a flexible, 7 day rostered position with shifts between 7am and 9:30pm. The role is a permanent 0.6EFT position.
