About Us
The Intensive Mobile Outreach Support (IMOS) Team sits within Monash Health's Infant, Child and Youth Area Mental Health & Wellbeing Service, part of the broader Mental Health Program covering the Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, Kingston and Monash local government areas. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing an assertive outreach model of care to children and adolescents under 25 who present with severe mental health problems, high risk factors, and difficulty engaging with mainstream mental health services. IMOS clinicians work collaboratively with schools, GPs, paediatricians and other community agencies to deliver shared, coordinated care.
The service prioritises meeting young people and their families in community settings of their choice, working within the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022, to provide recovery-oriented, evidence-based care tailored to consumer and carer needs.
