About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Grade 2 Neuropsychologist - Community Rehabilitation to join our team! 

 

This part-time, ongoing role offers 0.4 EFT / 30.4 hours per fortnight within the Community Rehabilitation Team across Springvale and Dandenong.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a Grade 2 clinician to gain valuable experience in community rehabilitation within in a large and diverse multidisciplinary team.

 

In this role you will:

  • Make a difference by providing psychological services to adult and older adult clients 
  • Conduct neuropsychological assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs and goals 
  • Collaborate with an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team, supporting continuity of care across services
  • Offer valuable psychoeducation to teams, clients and support persons about cognitive and/or behavioural difficulties 
  • Engage in innovative clinical research and quality improvement and mentor provisional psychologists
  • Support service KPIs, team meetings, and waitlist management

About You:

You are a highly effective communicator with strong, well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills. To ensure your success in this role you will also bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:   

  • Genuine passion and interest in this unique opportunity, combined with proven experience and effective clinical assessment and intervention skills    
  • Experience working with clients who have complex conditions   
  • Experience in evidence-based neuropsychological assessments, reports, formulation, short-term intervention and evaluation of outcomes with individuals/groups
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, you readily build strong relationships with stakeholders in the delivery of client centred care    
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

 

 

Mandatory requirements of the role:

  • Hold current general registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA. 
  • Valid Driver's licence
  • Hold or working towards endorsement in clinical neuropsychology
