About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Perioperative Nurse Manager to provide operational and clinical leadership to our Dandenong Hospital Theatres team on a full-time ongoing basis.
Key areas of accountability include:
- Lead and support theatre staff across a diverse range of specialties in an 8-theatre complex.
- Drive safe, efficient and high-quality patient care through strong leadership and best practice.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams to optimise theatre utilisation and patient flow.
- Champion quality, safety and continuous improvement in perioperative service delivery.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, education and development to build a resilient and engaged team.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture.

Dandenong Hospital is a key part of the Monash Health network, providing a broad range of surgical services to a growing and diverse community. The Dandenong Theatres complex consists of eight operating theatres, supporting multiple surgical specialties in a busy, fast-paced environment.

About You:
You are a passionate perioperative leader ready to take the next step in your leadership journey. With a strong clinical background and a collaborative leadership style, you are committed to delivering excellent patient outcomes while supporting and inspiring your team.
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
- Extensive perioperative nursing experience with proven leadership or management experience.
- Have completed Post graduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A demonstrated ability to lead change, influence stakeholders and build engaged teams.
