About the Role

Our Dandenong Continuing Care Team (DCCT) based in Dandenong, has an opening for an Occupational Therapist to join their team. This is a part time (.8 EFT, 32 hours per week) ongoing opportunity and is open to both Grade 2 and 3 Occupational Therapists.

 

This role will see you lead the delivery of innovative, evidence-based occupational therapy services for adults experiencing complex mental health challenges.This is a community based role, working Monday to Friday (8.30AM to 5PM), providing effective mental health care through both clinic-based appointments and home visits

About You

 

You are an experienced and values-driven Occupational Therapist who thrives in dynamic environments and is motivated by the opportunity to lead and inspire others. You bring:

 

  • A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.

  • Experience working in community mental health settings, with a strong understanding of recovery-focused care.

  • Knowledge in assessment and therapeutic interventions for adults with complex mental health conditions.

  • Experience delivering occupation-based interventions in real-life environments, including home, community, and vocational settings.

  • A proactive approach to supporting consumers, carers, and NDIS providers in navigating recovery pathways.
