About the Role
We have an opportunity available for a skilled Grade 3 Occupational Therapist, to join the multidisciplinary team (MDT) at Dandenong or Casey Hospital. This position is in the acute program in the bed-based service and will cover acute general Medical & Surgical units. Whilst this position is advertised as full time, part time applicants will be considered.
The Grade 3 occupational therapist will provide expert clinical care and leadership in bed-based services. This includes clinical oversight of a stream-based OT team, providing education, supervision, and direct clinical support to clinicians.This position requires highly developed communication and teamwork skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Your clinical leadership will extend to supervising Grade 2 therapists and allied health assistants. You will be leading the acute stream in evaluating and developing processes for the OT department and the acute stream and contribute to an evidence-based service delivery for OT services. You will be well supported through regular supervision and work alongside another experienced Senior Clinician.
About You
You are an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist, with no restrictions. To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
