The Dandenong Mobile Support & Treatment Service (MST) is seeking a compassionate Consumer Peer Support Worker (part time 0.5eft, Monday to Friday) to join our multidisciplinary team and provide recovery-oriented support to individuals experiencing mental health issues.
MST provides intensive, community-based mental health care to individuals aged 18-65 in the Dandenong area. Our multidisciplinary team includes registered psychiatric nurses, occupational therapist, a consultant psychiatrist, medical officers, psychologists, AOD clinician, and peer support workers. We offer services from 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM, 7 days a week, meeting consumers both at our community clinic and in their homes.
As a Consumer Peer Support Worker, you will play an essential role in providing direct, community-based support to consumers of MST, using your own lived experience of mental health and personal recovery. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to empower individuals, promote hope, and guide them toward achieving their recovery goals.
