About the Role
Monash Health Refugee Health and Wellbeing operates within a person-centred care framework and embraces the social model of health, responding to both the needs of our local community and to emerging population health data. We are committed to improving health and wellbeing outcomes for refugee and asylum seeker communities and are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team as a Refugee Health Nurse in a fixed term part time, 0.5 EFT, capacity.
About You
As part of a dynamic and supportive multi-disciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality primary care services to refugee and asylum seeker patients. This includes on-arrival health assessments, routine nursing care and care coordination, with opportunities to explore a variety of clinical portfolio responsibilities.

If you are an experienced nurse with a strong interest in working with refugee communities, thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment, and are committed to improving health access and equity, this role will be of interest.
Mandatory requirements of the role:

Bachelor of Nursing

Computer literacy, intermediate skill using Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Previous Refugee Health Nurse experience

Qualifications in Immunisation, Sexual Health- CST.
