About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the Imaging team at Dandenong Hospital on an ongoing part-time basis. If you are passionate about radiology nursing and delivering high-quality patient care, we’d love to hear from you. 

• 2x Part-time ongoing fixed -term positions available (80 hours a fortnigh)
  
  
  
• This position covers Dandenong Hospital and includes Monday–Friday shifts plus out-of-hours on-call duties.

About Us:

Monash Imaging Dandenong provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services to inpatients, outpatients and emergency patients. The department offers Interventional Angiography, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound services.

About You:

You are a qualified Registered Nurse with recent acute, surgical and/or critical care experience. You will model the values of Monash Health and the culture of Patient and Family family-centred care and are passionate about providing exceptional care to your patients. You are confident in your assessment skills and can recognise and manage the deteriorating patient.

You also will need to demonstrate:

• Have strong communication and collaboration skills and enjoy working with a large multidisciplinary team

• You have a love of learning and are excited to move to a role where technology is always advancing and you will continually be developing your skills, and where the expectation is that you upskill across all modalities

• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where your prioritisation skills will shine What you need:

• Radiology experience is preferred but not essential. Previous experience in interventional radiology, emergency or surgical nursing highly desirable 

• Able to wear and weight bear Protective Radiation garment(s) for short and extended periods of time

• Able to participate in the rotating after-hours on-call roster.

• The Registered Nurse must live or be within 30 minutes of travel time from Dandenong Hospital when rostered on-call 

• Flexible with deployment when and as required to facilitate appropriate team planning and distribution of nursing skill mix within the modalities of Monash Imaging
