About the Role:
We currently have an ongoing part-time positions available to work in West 2 at Dandenong Hospital.
We guarantee that no two days will be the same! You’ll enjoy the variety and challenges that come from working with skilled senior staff clinical mentors while being supported by the leadership team across the program and across our large, complex health service.
Your work will include:
- Patient-centred provision of care to our cohort of patients in General Medicine
- Role modelling to other staff and working within the team collaboratively
- Participating in quality improvement across the program to support best practice
- Ours is a highly connected team with strong shared values and a commitment to excellence.
About Us:
Our Wards under the General Medicine Program are truly a great place to work.
West 2 holds 30 inpatient beds comprised of General Medical patients admitted for cardiac, renal and respiratory conditions. We are one of several wards to have implemented ward governance, providing care to patients under the supervision of a medical, nursing, pharmacy and allied health lead. Under the governance structure, staff are encouraged to actively engage in quality improvement and risk mitigation activities to provide safe and timely care to patients.
