About Us
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses with skills in Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics/PACU to support our busy theatre departments across multiple sites.
Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care during some of our patients' most vulnerable moments. Dandenong Hospital – Fixed Term Opportunities until June 2027, Part Time and Full Time hours available.
Our 8-theatre operating suite provides services across a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopaedics, plastics, obstetrics and gynaecology, ENT, colorectal, maxillofacial and general surgery. Dandenong offers a diverse and fast-paced environment with strong opportunities to develop your perioperative expertise.
Moorabbin Hospital – Ongoing Opportunities available, Part Time and Full Time hours available.
Moorabbin's operating suite comprises 6 operating theatres and a procedure room across two floors. Specialising predominantly in elective surgery, key areas include orthopaedics, urology, ENT, breast and reconstructive surgery, and gynaecology. The department offers a supportive Monday-to-Friday environment with a strong focus on teamwork and education.
Monash Children's Hospital – Ongoing and temporary positions available, full time and part time
Theatre experience preferred, paediatric ward / PICU experience will be considered
Located within a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility, Monash Children's Hospital has 4 operating theatres and a procedure room and provides specialist paediatric surgical services across orthopaedics, neurosurgery, plastics, general surgery, urology, dental, ENT and endoscopy. We also provide Off the Floor anaesthetic & PACU care in the Children's Cancer Centre and Diagnostic Imaging units. Caring for more than 4,000 patients annually, our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to children and their families. The department offers a supportive Monday-to-Sunday roster with a strong focus on teamwork and education.
About You
As someone with a strong work ethic, motivation and personal values you will encourage a supportive team environment and support our organisation in our relentless pursuit of excellence providing exciting and progressive care.
You will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration, essential
- Recent Substantial experience in Theatre Nursing; Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics/PACU – Dual Skilled, essential
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care
- Postgraduate perioperative qualifications, highly desirable
