About the Role

As a clinical role, it will draw on your knowledge of mental health legislation and policy, including intake, mental state and risk assessment, and crisis intervention. You'll work predominantly in an outreach capacity, meeting consumers in the community, though you may also provide onsite/office-based assessments and reviews where appropriate. This position works a rotating roster of morning, afternoon/evening and weekend shifts, in line with core service demands.

This position requires an individual with the skills to liaise closely with our inpatient and community agencies to ensure best-practice care is provided. This will ensure comprehensive assessment, collaborative treatment planning and appropriate referral for consumers experiencing acute mental health issues across the lifespan.

This opportunity is open to Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Grade 3 only.

This is a part-time (0.8 EFT), ongoing role, based at Dandenong
