In this senior role, you’ll provide high-quality, client-centred social work services to adults experiencing acute mental health challenges.
You’ll play a key role in:

- Delivering targeted therapeutic interventions
- Advocating for client rights
- Coordinating discharge planning and community liaison
- Providing clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff and students
You’ll work collaboratively with a passionate multidisciplinary team, including medical, nursing, allied health, and lived experience professionals, while also building strong partnerships with key external stakeholders such as Child Protection, Housing Services, Centrelink, and Family Violence services.
This is a fast-paced, rewarding position requiring flexibility, a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, and a passion for recovery-focused mental health practice.
About Us

You thrive in a collaborative environment and have a proven track record of making meaningful contributions to multidisciplinary teams.
You're also a leader – able to supervise, mentor, and guide junior colleagues and students, while engaging in ongoing quality improvement and service development initiatives.
To be considered, you must have:
- AASW-accredited Bachelor or entry-level Master of Social Work (or overseas equivalent with AASW recognition)
- Minimum 7 years post-qualifying experience
- Eligibility for or current AASW membership
- Postgraduate qualification (or working toward) in a relevant field (e.g., Family Therapy, Mental Health, Advanced Social Work) – highly desirable
