About the Role
 
We have an opportunity for a Community Access Clinician - Allied Health, to join the team in Doveton, on a full-time fixed term basis until March 2027. 
 
This clinical position delivers an integrated, client-centred screening service, supporting timely access to care by assessing referrals, prioritising client need, and facilitating smooth flow across community programs.
 
Working as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, you will screen and triage referrals using established eligibility and prioritisation frameworks, contribute to shared decision-making through team processes, and support equitable and responsive service delivery. This role is ideal for a clinician with experience in acute or community settings who enjoys working at the interface of clinical care, coordination, and system navigation.
 
This is a parental leave cover position and is open to the following disciplines: Audiology, Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Radiography, Social Work & Speech Pathology.   
 
About Us 
 
Community Access is the first point of contact for referrals advice, initial appointments and information about Monash Health Community Services for programs such as Specialist Clinics, Post Acute Care, Complex Care, Rehabilitation Programs, and Community Health.
 
About You
 
You are an experienced Allied Health clinician with a strong foundation in community or rehabilitation practice and a genuine commitment to client-centred care. With well-developed clinical assessment and triage skills, you are confident supporting adults experiencing disability or functional decline and can balance independent decision-making with effective multidisciplinary collaboration.
 
You bring a proactive, organised approach to your work, strong communication skills, and the ability to build productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. 
 
 
Qualification & Licence requirements include: 
 
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health discipline as per the supportive documents below
  • General registration with the relevant national registration board and/or able to provide evidence of qualification
  • A current Victorian Driver’s Licence
