About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join our enhanced community team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary environment dedicated to delivering high‑quality, recovery‑oriented mental health care.
As a Social Worker at Doveton CCU, you will:
- Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments and evidence‑based interventions
- Deliver casework, advocacy, and support to consumers and their families/carers
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessment, and strengths‑based recovery pathways
- Facilitate group programs that promote functional skills, independence, and community participation
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic person‑centred care
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with community services, NDIS providers, and support networks
This is a full time, ongoing, position with access to an ADO and 5 weeks annual leave.
About Us
Doveton CCU provides community‑based residential psychosocial rehabilitation for adults aged 18–64 living with serious mental illness and associated psychosocial challenges. Our supportive, home‑like environment enables consumers to continue their recovery journey while developing the skills and confidence needed for independent living and successful transition back into the community.
About You
We are looking for a Social Worker who brings:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligibility for AASW membership
- Strong knowledge of mental health, psychosocial rehabilitation, and recovery‑oriented practice
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills
- A commitment to empowering consumers and supporting sustainable, meaningful recovery
- Experience working with families, carers, and complex psychosocial needs
