About Us - Allied Health Workforce, Innovation, Strategy, Education and Research (WISER) unit at Monash Health
There are over 2000 Allied Health employees across Monash Health. The Allied Health WISER unit provides support and governance for allied health in regard to student and staff education delivery and best practice, credentialing and scope of practice, allied health assistance advice, informatics and projects as delegated by the Chief Allied Health Officer at Monash Health.
About the Role
The Allied Health Advisor will assist in the implementation of the Allied Health Strategic Workforce Plan including:
- Managing projects
- Use evidence to support delivery of high quality workforce initiatives and projects
- Enhance evidence based practice within Monash Health Allied Health across programs by aligning projects to organisational strategic and priority areas
- Work collaboratively to maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
About You
You have been developing your management and leadership skills or you are an accomplished project leader and communicator. You are ready to think differently to ensure we have the best allied health clinicians at Monash Health. You are also an advocate of Monash Health’s Strategic Guiding Principles.
What You Need
-
Qualification in an Allied Health discipline
-
Current non-limited AHPRA registration if applicable for professional group
-
Eligible for membership with the appropriate professional association
-
Current Working with Children’s Check
-
Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
-
Post graduate qualifications in Management, Research, Leadership or Public Health or progressing towards one of these strongly preferred
