About the Role
Join our friendly multidisciplinary Community Specialist Clinics team on a full-time (1EFT) ongoing basis as an experienced Allied Health Assistant Grade 3. This role is well supported, working under delegation and supervision of Allied Health Practitioners.
In this position you will:
· Provide clinical support to patients within specialist clinics, including supporting group programs and 1:1 therapy programs delegated by the Allied Health team
· Support Allied Health Professionals with direct and indirect client care and essential clinical administrative tasks
· Contribute to the smooth operation of clinics, including preparation, coordination, documentation and follow-up activities
· Work collaboratively with patients, their families and the multidisciplinary clinic teams to support safe, effective and person-centred care
· Provide clinical leadership within the Allied Health Assistant team and actively contribute to AHA service development and quality improvement initiatives
About You
You are an experienced Allied Health Assistant who is confident working in complex community settings and motivated to contribute at a leadership level.

· Ambition to grow your skills and expand your knowledge and develop others
· Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance
· A minimum of three years’ experience as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA), working in a public health care setting is preferable
· Eligibility for membership of AHANA as a Practicing Member (Certified)
· In addition to the Certificate IV above, other tertiary qualifications relevant to the role will be well regarded
· A current Australian Drivers Licence
