About the Role:
Join our team as an Allied Health Interprofessional Education Officer on a part-time ongoing basis (0.6 EFT / 45.6 hours per fortnight) based at the Kingston Centre in Heatherton.
In this role, you will support the Allied Health Education Advisors (Workforce, Interprofessional, and Student) to:

Ensure all interprofessional education at Monash Health is grounded in evidence-based principles.

Assist in the design, delivery, and evaluation of interprofessional education programs for allied health clinicians.
You’ll travel across Monash Health sites, delivering education and building strong connections with stakeholders.
About Us:
The Allied Health Workforce, Innovation, Strategy, Education, Research (WISER) Unit supports the Chief Allied Health Officer and all Allied Health clinicians. We drive an effective and sustainable Allied Health workforce through innovation, strategy, education and research and explore and advance opportunities in Allied Health to improve patient care. WISER is the Workforce Innovation, Strategy, Education and Research Unit across Monash Health Community and Allied Health. We are integrated with Allied Health Research Unit actively contributing to the support of research publications and conference presentations.
About You:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills and significant experience (at least 7 years) in the provision of clinical services including interdisciplinary teamwork, assessment, intervention, case management and discharge planning
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills and significant experience (at least 5 years) in the provision of health professional education
- Demonstrated experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative education programs
Mandatory requirements of the role:
- Relevant Allied Health Professional qualification
- Current registration with AHPRA (if applicable)
- Eligible for membership with relevant profession specific association (if applicable)
- Completed or working towards post-graduate health professional/clinical education qualification
