About the Role
Join our team as an Allied Health - Occupational Therapy Workforce Clinical Educator on a part-time basis within the Community teams. If you are an experienced Occupational Therapist with a keen interest in workforce education at the coalface, this role is for you! This role will see you supporting the community teams to maintain and further build capability as Occupational Therapists and problem solve on the job. This role reports operationally to the WISER Unit with supervision provided from the Alleid health Education Lead and peer support from a broad network of Allied health Workforce Clinical Educators. The Professional Governance for this role is held by Head of Profession, Occupational Therapy.

Monash Health Allied Health employs over 3200 allied health staff and hosts professional and assistant students annually. The WISER team supports education, professional practice, governance, grad program coordination, informatics, research and projects aligned to Allied Health at Monash Health.
About You
You have been developing your Occupational Therapy skills and experience, including clinical education with at least seven years clinical practice experience, ideally in a public health or community setting and are ready to take this next step in your career. You lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence based care to all patients. You are an advocate of Monash Health’s Strategic Guiding Principles.

Mandatory requirements of the role:
- Demonstrated seven years relevant clinical experience as a qualified Occuaptional Therapist and a proven track record of delivering effective education to clinicians
- Have or working towards a relevant post graduate qualification
- Bachelor of Occuaptional Therapy OR equivalent as assessed and approved by AHPRA
- AHPRA registration
- Ability to travel across sites in the Monash Health catchment
