Dietitian Grade 3 | Part-time (70 hours per fortnight / 0.9 EFT) | Ongoing | Kingston Centre - Heatherton

 

A Day in the Life

Join us as a Grade 3 Dietitian and play a key leadership role in shaping nutrition care across Kingston Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your clinical and leadership skills while working alongside an inclusive, passionate team committed to delivering exceptional, evidence-based care.

 

As a respected senior clinician, you will use your advanced clinical expertise and leadership skills to:

  • Champion the profile of dietetics and advocate for excellence in nutrition care across Kingston Centre
  • Build strong partnerships with senior medical, nursing and allied health colleagues to optimise patient outcomes
  • Inspire and support research, innovation and meaningful quality improvement initiatives
  • Mentor and develop Grade 1 and Grade 2 Dietitians, fostering clinical excellence and person-centred care
  • Work collaboratively with the leadership team to cultivate a positive, supportive culture focused on growth, learning and accountability

About Us

Based at Kingston Centre (Rehabilitation and Aged Care), you'll provide expert clinical leadership across our service while working alongside an experienced and highly connected team of Senior Dietitians.

About You

To thrive in this role you will bring:

  • Preferably at least seven years' experience providing clinical dietetic care to acute and/or subacute inpatients
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering clinical education and providing high-quality clinical supervision
  • A passion for developing others, with excellent organisational skills and a warm, engaging communication style
  • The ability to lead by example, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based dietetic care
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to foster a collaborative team culture that supports continuous learning, professional growth, and excellence in patient care

 

Mandatory Requirements

  • A Dietitians Australia-accredited dietetics degree, or a Dietitians Australia mutually recognised dietetics degree from New Zealand, or successful completion of the Dietitians Australia Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) process
  • Hold, or be working towards, postgraduate qualifications
  • Eligibility for full membership with Dietitians Australia and Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status
