About the role

Join our vibrant and supportive team at Kingston Centre, South 6 Ward, part of the Monash Health Rehabilitation & Sub-Acute Services network. We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Enrolled Nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care to older adults in an inpatient setting.
In South 6, Kingston Centre, you will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, clinical excellence and the wellbeing of both patients and staff. Every day offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable older adults as they progress thorugh their rehabilitation journey in our Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) Ward.
We are currently seeking an Enrolled Nurse for a Part Time ongoing position on a rotating roster. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to view and select vacant shifts that suits your lifestyle-supporting a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact in patient care.
About Us
Located in Cheltenham, South 6 is a 30 bed ward specialising in Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) for slow stream Rehabilitation.
Our dynamic multidisciplinary team is dedicated to empowering patients to regain their independence, guiding them through their rehabilitation journey, and supporting safe, timely discharge planning. About You
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will:
- Provide and deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care within your Enrolled Nurse scope of practice.
- Collaborate confidently with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families-bringing strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset to plan and deliver exceptional person-centred care.
- Demonstrate clinical competence and professional accountability, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of nursing.
- Conduct nursing assessment, monitor for changes in patients condition and promptly escalate concerns to the Registered Nurse.
- Foster a culture of safety, respect, optimism, and continuous learning within the ward.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional and legal standards.
- Advocate for patient's dignity, wellbeing, and independence.
- Champion Falls and Pressure injury prevention, uphold Medication Safety, and support early detection of delirium.
- Actively participate in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and support discharge planning.

Requirements
- Current AHPRA Enrolled Nurse registration (essential).
- Working With Children Check (essential).
- Clinical experience (Aged Care or Rehab preferred)
- Completion of all pre-employment checks as per Monash Health policy.
