About the Role 

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist Grade 2 – Sub-Acute to join our team full-time at Monash Health – Kingston Centre. As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll empower patients to engage in meaningful activities and improve their quality of life. Your day will include: 

 

  • Conducting occupational assessments
  • Collaboratively setting goals with patients and the multidisciplinary team
  • Delivering occupation-based interventions that have a real impact
  • Working closely with allied health, nursing, and medical staff in a supportive environment that encourages shared learning and joint treatment planning. 

 

You will have supervision and support to have hands on clinical learning with: 

  • Grade 2 peers
  • Grade 3 Occupational therapists seniors
  • Clinical educators
  • Clinical grade 4 clinical specialists

 About Us  

In this dynamic role, you’ll work across a diverse range of clinical caseloads including Neurological aged rehabilitation, Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM), and fast-stream rehabilitation. You’ll be part of a large, supportive subacute service, delivering high-quality occupational therapy in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. 

 

You’ll work alongside inclusive and enthusiastic occupational therapy and allied health professionals, providing evidence-based care that truly makes a difference to patients and their families. This role is fast-paced, rewarding, and integral to delivering exceptional rehabilitation outcomes.

  • Experience in subacute clinical settings
  • A passion for enhancing occupational performance and patient experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in evidence-based practice, research, and service improvement 

 

Mandatory Requirements: 

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
