About the Pharmacy Program
Monash Health Pharmacy is a diverse and dynamic team of over 500 professionals. We work across seven hospitals and community settings, delivering best-practice pharmacy services and supporting career development through structured rotations, mentoring, and leadership opportunities.
About the Role
Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician Team Leader – Kingston Centre on a part time (16 hours a week, 2 days a week) ongoing basis, to work at Kingston Centre based at Heatherton. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the Pharmacist Team Leader – Rehabilitation and Geriatric Medicine and working with the broader pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities include

Lead and coordinate pharmacy technician services to ensure safe, accurate and efficient dispensing, distribution and stock management across all allocated services and sites.

Provide day-to-day supervision, training, mentoring and performance support to pharmacy technicians.

Oversee operational activities including audits, quality improvement initiatives, compliance with policies, and medication safety requirements.

Participate in rostered shifts including rotating rosters, weekends and public holidays, in line with the service requirements.

Work flexibly across all sites as required, including travel to other Monash Health locations
About You

Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, with demonstrated capability to lead, supervise and support a team in a complex healthcare environment

Mandatory requirements of the role:

Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support or equivalent

Minimum of three years’ full-time experience as a qualified pharmacy technician
