About Us
We are seeking an experienced Quality and Compliance Manager – Aged Care Services to provide leadership, coordination and subject matter expertise across our Commonwealth Residential and Community Aged Care Services, including Transition Care and Aged Care Assessment Services.
Reporting to the Operations Manager – Aged Care (Residential and Community), you will play a pivotal role in strengthening clinical governance, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS accreditation requirements.
About the Role
This senior leadership role oversees the design, implementation and ongoing monitoring of clinical quality frameworks across Residential Aged Care Homes, Transition Care Programs, Aged Care Assessment Services and Community Aged Care Services.
You will also provide direct leadership and oversight to a small team of Quality Partners, building capability within the team and ensuring consistent, high-quality support across all aged care programs.
You will:
- Lead and embed robust systems to monitor, evaluate and report on clinical standards of assessment, care and service delivery
- Drive compliance and quality improvement aligned to legislative and accreditation requirements
- Provide expert advice to Operations Managers and senior leaders on risk management, audit outcomes and clinical performance trends
- Oversee audit programs, clinical incident data reporting and clinical review recommendations
- Provide oversight to Quality Partners and support analysis of key clinical indicators
- Strengthen documentation standards, audit readiness and risk mitigation strategies
- Support investigations of critical incidents and adverse events
- Develop and review clinical policies, guidelines and procedures to reflect best practice and regulatory change
- Deliver education, mentoring and support to facility and service leaders to build capability in quality and compliance
This role plays a key part in progressing local and organisation-wide improvement initiatives and ensuring we consistently meet and exceed accreditation outcomes.
About You
You are an experienced quality and compliance professional with a strong background in aged care clinical governance. You bring:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in quality, safety and risk management within aged care or health services, essential
- Strong knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation, essential
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse, essential
- The ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical, sustainable systems
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- A passion for continuous improvement and resident-centred care
- Experience with audit programs, clinical data analysis and accreditation processes
