Help shape the future of healthcare recruitment at Monash Health

Be part of the team providing gold-standard, centralised recruitment at Monash Health. This is your opportunity to join a forward-thinking, high-impact in-house recruitment function that is driving innovation, consistency and excellence across Victoria’s largest public health service.

At Monash Health, recruitment is more than filling roles — it’s about building capability, strengthening culture, and enabling exceptional care. As we continue to embed our new People & Culture strategy and values, we’re seeking an experienced Recruiter to support the selection and appointment of Administration professionals across the organisation.

About the Role

Based at our Kingston Centre in Heatherton, and travelling across Monash Health sites to build strong stakeholder relationships, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers across the organisation to deliver end-to-end recruitment for a diverse portfolio of Administration roles, including Personal Assistants, Administration Officers and Ward Clerks.

As part of the People & Engagement team, you’ll play a key role in delivering a consistent, fair and values-led recruitment experience, supporting people leaders through every stage of the process — from workforce planning and sourcing through to selection and appointment.

This is a highly collaborative, people-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, balancing multiple priorities, and delivering an exceptional experience for candidates and stakeholders alike.

This is a part-time opportunity (45.6 hours per week), with flexibility around working days.

About You

You’re a passionate recruiter who understands the impact great hiring has on organisational culture and performance. You bring energy, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to recruitment best practice — and you’re excited to contribute to a healthcare organisation that truly makes a difference.

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, value teamwork, and take pride in delivering outcomes aligned with organisational strategy and values.

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience across the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle (agency experience highly regarded)
  • A strong customer-service mindset with the ability to quickly build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A calm, professional approach with the ability to respond with urgency when required
  • Flexibility, adaptability and resilience in a changing environment
  • A collaborative attitude — and yes, a sense of humour goes a long way

Experience in healthcare recruitment is welcome but not essential. What matters most is your commitment to quality recruitment, stakeholder partnership, and candidate experience.

Our recruitment team plays a critical role in bringing our new strategy to life, challenging traditional approaches, embracing innovation, and ensuring every appointment reflects our commitment to equity, transparency and excellence.

You’ll be encouraged to share ideas, contribute to improvement initiatives, and grow alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about what they do.

We are Full hearted, Open minded and All in, enabling excellent service delivery and a positive candidate and employee experience every time.
