Welcome to Boollam Boollam Aged Care Centre 
 
Nestled within the leafy grounds of the Kingston Centre in Heatherton, the Boollam Boollam Aged Care Centre offers a state-of-the-art, purpose-built centre that is dedicated to comfort, dignity, and excellence in aged care. With 150 beds across four thoughtfully designed floors consisting of 15 bed houses, our modern infrastructure supports a warm, home-like environment—tailored to meet the unique needs of every resident. 
 
The home is supported by a diverse team of nursing professionals including Nursing Coordinators, Nurse Managers, Associate Nurse Managers, Registered Nurses, Graduate Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Healthcare Workers who all work collaboratively with our Nurse Managers and Facility Manager. 
 
Located on the 3rd floor of Boollam Boollam Aged Care, Terrace Ward is a 30-bed Ageing in Place unit featuring welcoming amenities, including a rooftop terrace where residents enjoy social gatherings and activities.
 
We currently have a Maternity Leave replacement position available until Feb 2027 at 56 hours per fortnight on a set shift roster. The roster is per below:

About the role: 
 
Reporting to the Nurse Manager and the Associate Nurse Managers (ANM) you will be responsible for the provision of high quality and holistic residential centred care.  
We care for residents, many of whom are living with complex care needs that need your clinical expertise, compassion and support. We are committed to delivering innovative, evidence-based care that both challenges and engages our clinicians, supported by Monash Health specialties and in-reach services to help us achieve our goals. 
 
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will also; 
 
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with residents and the care team 
  • Work in a dynamic and supportive team environment 
  • Take leadership responsibilities during shifts, including acting ‘in-charge’ if/when required 
  • Promote resident independence, dignity, and quality of life 
 
About you: 
 
As a compassionate Nurse looking for a meaningful role in a supportive and professional aged care environment, you’ll be empowered to provide high-quality resident-centred care—every day is different, and every contribution matters. 
 
You will also have; 
 
  • Valid NDIS Clearance and completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (essential
  • Valid police check clearance including a renewal every 3 years (essential) 
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential
  • Prior Nursing experience in aged care (essential
  • Completion of a 12-month supported graduate nurse program or equivelant work experience as a Registered Nurse, essential
  • A commitment to safe, best-practice nursing and quality improvement 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • A proactive, flexible, and collaborative attitude 
  • Passion for person-centred care and resident advocacy 
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and team-oriented
