About the Role 

 

The Social Work Department is looking for a Grade 1 Social Worker to join our growing team at Monash Health, Kingston Centre, working in the subacute hospital setting. This role is a Parental Leave fixed term full-time role for a period of 12 months, until December 2026. You will have the opportunity to join a dynamic social work and multi-disciplinary team where you will have a pivotal role in contributing to a positive team culture.  

 

 

You will be provided with an opportunity to be challenged plus demonstrate your skills including:  

 

  • Working with people from a range of diverse backgrounds 
  • Complete complex psychosocial assessments, 
  • Development of patient centred care plans and complex discharges.

You will also require:  

  • Bachelor Social Work or Master Social Work (Qualifying) 
  • Current driver’s licence 
  • Eligible for AASW membership including continuing professional education
