About Us
Atherton Rd Centre (ARC) is a mental health outpatient hub, based at Atherton Road, Oakleigh. This service provides a diverse range of Adult Mental Health Services to consumers and their families/carers, which are tailored to meet the mental health and wellbeing needs of consumers.
About the Role
The Administrative Officer position provides front line operational administrative support, to multiple clinical teams based at ARC. The role is based within a larger administrative team, and requires the Administration Officer to undertake a variety of clerical skills, which includes face to face customer service, data entry, taking phone calls, making appointments and managing room and fleet car bookings in a timely manner. Experience with working with a range of databases and applications such as HEAT, IPM, CMI, EMR, SMR, Oracle, Word and Excel is desirable, as well as demonstrating competence in completing monthly reports and minute taking as requested by the Site Co-ordinator/ Service Manager.
About You
Qualifications/ registrations/ licences:
- Business qualification and/or relevant clerical/reception experience and skills training
Technical skills/ knowledge/ experience:
- High level computer based technical skills including Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
- At least two years in a Clerical/Reception position is preferred
- Experience in a Healthcare setting; previous administrative experience in a mental health setting is desirable
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology is desirable
- Knowledge/experience with IPM, CMI, HEAT, EMR, SMR, Oracle is desirable
