About the Role

 

The Grade 2 Exercise Physiologist position,  is a 12 month , part time , fixed term contract, which sits within the Continuing Care Team (CCT).

 Located at the Atherton Rd Centre, in Oakleigh, this entry level position provides a supportive and comprehensive experience in mental health, offering the right tools, experiences and environments that will enable the Grade 1 to confidently and competently contribute to Monash Health’s clinical work.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 discipline-specific interventions to consumers
  • Support and contribute to group programs within ARC
  • Participate in physical health screening, referrals and follow-up care
  • Deliver recovery-oriented, evidence-based care
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians, consumers, families and carers

 

You’ll receive ongoing support and direction from your Team Manager and Clinical Supervisor, ensuring you develop both clinically and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

 

You will:

 

  • Deliver evidence-based exercise physiology services to consumers
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary care planning and treatment
  • Support group-based interventions within the ARC program
  • Engage in clinical supervision and reflective practice
  • Participate in quality improvement and innovation activities
  • Liaise with community services, GPs and external stakeholders
  • Ensure care aligns with professional standards and organisational policies
