A six month position with a possibility of extending working as a Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant or a Community Development worker with Paediatric experience.
About the Role
Join our team as a Allied Health assistant / Community development worker on a part time contract of 4 days, ongoing to work at Pakenham site but will expect at times to move to other sites.
The role is to Support the program intake and triage for program as well as groups, and individual clients as directed by a clinician.
This role would work alongside the clinicians and team leaders in the team to provide good quality child centred outcomes for children we work with.
About Us
Child and Family Program including Healthy Mothers and Healthy babies and School Readiness Program is comprised of numerous disciplines that focus on the assessment and delivery of child and family focused care.
The program consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Dieticians, Exercise Physiologist, Podiatrists and Psychologists, Counsellor, Social Worker and Community Development workers.
The team is committed to working with communities, families and individuals who have poor health outcomes and to providing high quality, multidisciplinary programs which embrace child and family centred practice, evidence based practice and the Social Model of Health.
About You
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- A demonstrated knowledge of your working with children
- A demonstrated knowledge of child development
- Demonstrate good communicate, written and computer skills.
- Highly motivated.
