About the Role 

Join our team as a Grade 2 Physiotherapist on a part-time, ongoing basis (0.40 EFT / 30.4 hours per fortnight) as part of the Community Assessment and Response Team based at Pakenham, with travel to multiple Monash Health locations when required.

As a Grade 2 Physiotherapist, you will provide evidence based physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients with a wide range of clinical presentations, often presenting with multiple co-morbidities. This role will also be involved in running group exercise therapy. You will be part of the wider Monash Health Physiotherapy service, with access to all the benefits that offers: professional development, supervision, and broad and specialised clinical experience. About Us 

Primary Care Support Team, as part of the Community Assessment and Response Team (CART) offers a variety of programs that assist individuals to manage chronic health conditions, focusing on the assessment and delivery of client focused care.  This is a new service in Monash Health and an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth. The CART team consists of Allied Health Assistants, Care Coordinators, Community Development Workers, Counsellors, Diabetes Nurse Educators, Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, and Podiatrists. We are committed to working with communities, families and individuals providing high quality, multidisciplinary programs which embrace client centred care, evidence based practice and the Social Model of Health.

Mandatory Requirements: 

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
