About Us 

The Monash Health Pathology Service operates under the brand name of Monash Health Pathology and is an integral part of Monash Health. It is one of the largest providers of public Pathology services in the state and currently operates 5 laboratories. The largest of these is located at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with additional facilities being located at the Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey and Wonthaggi Hospitals.  There are currently 19 collection centres based within the hospital sites and community settings. Services are provided to the Public and Private sectors, and other laboratory services. 

 

About the Role & You

We have a vacancy in the Monash Health Pathology Accounts team. The team is responsible for the Accounts Receivable and Payable functions of the Pathology service operating across both the public and private healthcare sectors. This is a Part Time Ongoing position. 

The team needs people with: 

  • An understanding of the Healthcare industry, 

  • An understanding of Accounts Receivable and Payable services, 

  • An ability to work collaboratively and problem solve 

  • A high level of comfort with Microsoft Excel, and 

  • A desire to learn and/or teach. 

  • Please consider us if this opportunity interests you and you also have any of the following: 

  • Previous experience Accounts Receivable and Payable services 

  • Previous experience Pathology services 

  • An understanding of the Commonwealth Medical Benefits Schedule, or 

  • An understanding of HICOL / ECLIPSE processes
